Our Story

We own rental properties. And for years, we paid property managers 10% of our rent — plus placement fees, plus maintenance markup, plus lease renewal fees — to do work that was mostly administrative.

Forward a tenant email. Schedule a plumber. Send a late payment notice. Collect rent and take a cut. That was the job. And for that, we were paying thousands of dollars a year.

When we looked at what AI could actually do in 2026 — handle conversations, triage problems, coordinate schedules, track compliance, generate reports — it became obvious: most of what a property manager does can be done better, faster, and cheaper by AI.

So we built Proprium. Not to replace the human judgment that matters (that's your job as the owner), but to replace the middleman who charges 10% to be the messenger.
